Park Min-hyuk, better known by his stage name Rocky, is a South Korean artist, making significant strides in the world of K-pop as a prominent member of the band Astro.

Rocky burst onto the scene with the debut of Astro in 2016, their first Extended Play (EP) “Spring Up” reaching number 4 on the Gaon Album Chart. Known for his remarkable dancing skills and rap versatility, Rocky has made significant contributions to the group’s album production. He showcased his individual talent when he released a self-composed solo track, “Have a Good Night,” as part of Astro’s “Dream Part.01” album.

Rocky’s collaborations with other artists have not only showcased his talents but also established him as a formidable force in K-pop. He’s worked with notable artists like JinJin in the song “Like a King,” and collaborated with multiple choreographers for Astro’s dynamic performances. A memorable moment was when Rocky worked with MJ, JinJin, and Cha Eun-woo for the song “By Your Side.” Furthermore, he’s interacted with other K-pop artists such as V of BTS, Chaeryeong of ITZY, Mingyu of SEVENTEEN, and Moon Bin and Yoon San-ha from ASTRO.

Astro’s album “All Yours” was the winner of the Disc Bonsang at the 2022 Golden Disc Awards, where Rocky’s integral role as a rapper and dancer was pivotal. In the same year, Astro also won the Artist of the Year award at the Asia Artist Awards, solidifying the group’s influence in the K-pop landscape. These honors, coupled with his continual growth as an artist, mark Rocky’s exceptional contribution to the music industry.
