Oakes Fegley's Pets

Oakes Fegley is an American actor known for his roles in Pete’s Dragon (2016) as Pete and The Goldfinch (2019) as young Theo Decker.

In Pete’s Dragon, Fegley starred as Pete, working with Bryce Dallas Howard and Robert Redford in Disney’s remake of the 1977 classic. In The Goldfinch, he portrayed young Theo Decker, sharing scenes with Ansel Elgort and Nicole Kidman in an adaptation of Donna Tartt’s novel. Fegley appeared in Wonderstruck (2017), collaborating with Julianne Moore in a storyline that spans two eras. In The War with Grandpa (2020), he starred alongside Robert De Niro in a comedy focused on a playful rivalry between grandson and grandfather. His recurring role as Gabriel in Person of Interest featured him alongside Jim Caviezel. Fegley appeared in This Is Where I Leave You (2014), acting with Jason Bateman in a family-centered ensemble cast.
