Marie Kondo
Marie Kondo is a Japanese organizing consultant and author. She is the creator of the KonMari Method, a system of organizing and decluttering that emphasizes keeping only items that “spark joy” and being mindful of one’s possessions. Kondo first gained international attention with the publication of her book “The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up: The Japanese Art of Decluttering and Organizing” in 2011, which has since been translated into more than 30 languages. She also has a Netflix series named “Tidying Up with Marie Kondo” that premiered in 2019. The show was a huge success and was even nominated for an Emmy Award.
