Lizzy Caplan an American actress known for her breakout role as Janis Ian in the hit movie “Mean Girls.” She also received critical acclaim for her role as Virginia Johnson in the TV series “Masters of Sex,” where she portrayed a pioneering sex researcher. Caplan’s portrayal of Lula in “Now You See Me 2” alongside Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Mark Ruffalo, Dave Franco, and Daniel Radcliffe has been regarded as one of her top roles. A fan favorite, Caplan’s role as Casey Klein in the Showtime series “Party Down” with Adam Scott, Ken Marino, Martin Starr, Ryan Hansen, and Jane Lynch ran for two seasons in 2009-10, and was brought back in 2023 with the same cast. She also worked with Seth Rogen and James Franco in the film “The Interview” as a wise cracking CIA agent.
In addition to her work in film and television, Caplan has also made appearances in music videos, including “You and Me” by the band Lifehouse and “Out of My League” by Fitz and the Tantrums.
