Musicians

Khalid is an American singer-songwriter who burst onto the music scene in 2016 with his debut single “Location,” which quickly went viral and earned him critical acclaim. Since then, he has become a global superstar, with a string of hit singles and successful collaborations with other popular artists. Some of his most notable collaborations include “Silence” with Marshmello, “Love Lies” with Normani, and “Eastside” with Benny Blanco and Halsey. He has also worked with Ed Sheeran, Billie Eilish, and Post Malone, among others. Khalid has received numerous accolades for his work, including multiple Grammy nominations and wins, and he has been praised for his soulful voice and introspective lyrics.

Beyond his musical accomplishments, Khalid is also known for his advocacy for animals and animal non-profit organizations. He has been a longtime supporter of the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) and has used his platform to raise awareness about animal welfare issues. In 2020, he partnered with PETA to launch a campaign encouraging people to adopt pets from animal shelters. The campaign, called “Adopt, Don’t Shop,” aimed to reduce the number of animals that are euthanized each year by promoting the adoption of rescue animals.
