Kate del Castillo
Kate del Castillo is a Mexican actress recognized for her roles in both film and television, including her portrayal of Teresa Mendoza in “La Reina del Sur.” She starred in “Under the Same Moon” (2007), one of the highest-grossing Spanish-language films in U.S. box office history, and in “The 33” (2015), a film depicting the true story of 33 trapped Chilean miners. Del Castillo has expanded her acting range by providing voices for characters in animated series.
