Ja’Marr Chase
Ja’Marr Chase is an American football wide receiver for the Cincinnati Bengals of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the LSU Tigers, where he was a Fred Biletnikoff Award-winner and unanimous All-American who led the Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) in receiving yards and touchdowns en route to a National Championship in 2019. He was drafted by the Bengals fifth overall in the 2021 NFL Draft after sitting out of the 2020 season to focus on his professional career. In addition to being selected to the Pro Bowl his rookie season, Chase also broke the rookie receiving record with 266 yards in a Week 17 game against the Kansas City Chiefs.
In 2021, he signed a multi-year endorsement deal with Nike, joining the ranks of other top athletes such as LeBron James and Serena Williams. He has also worked with popular clothing brand Adidas, and has collaborated with fellow NFL player and rapper, DK Metcalf, on a music video for Metcalf’s song “Hoop Dreams”.
