Jacob Lofland's Pets

Jacob Seth Lofland is an American actor best known for his roles as Neckbone in “Mud,” Aris in the “Maze Runner” series, and Ensign Boatswain in “Free State of Jones.” He has been active in the industry since 2012 and received a Robert Altman Award at the Independent Spirit Awards for his ensemble work in “Mud.” Lofland’s performances have led to nominations, including at the Milan International Film Festival for “Little Accidents.”

Beginning his career with “Mud” in 2012, Lofland’s subsequent roles include Owen Briggs in “Little Accidents” (2014), Kendal Crowe in the television series “Justified” (2014), Aris in “Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials” (2015) and its sequel “Maze Runner: The Death Cure” (2018), Daniel in “Free State of Jones” (2016), Josh in “Go North” (2017), Snoggs in “12 Mighty Orphans” (2021), and Isaac in “A House on the Bayou” (2021). His television work includes a recurring role as Young Eli McCullough in “The Son” (2017-2019).

Lofland’s career has been marked by collaborations with notable industry figures such as actors Matthew McConaughey and Tye Sheridan in “Mud”; director Jeff Nichols and producer Sarah Green on the same project; the ensemble cast of the “Maze Runner” series, including Dylan O’Brien and Kaya Scodelario; and the teams behind “Justified” and “The Son.”
