Harold Perrineau is known for his portrayal of Michael Dawson on the television series Lost (2004–2010). He gained recognition for his performance in the HBO series Oz (1997–2003), where he played Augustus Hill.
Perrineau appeared in Romeo + Juliet (1996) as Mercutio and took on the role of Link in The Matrix Reloaded (2003) and The Matrix Revolutions (2003).
