Georgia Tennant is a British actress. Born into a family of actors, Tennant made her acting debut in 2002 with a small role in the British drama series “Doctors.” She went on to appear in a variety of TV shows and films, including “The Bill,” “Doctor Who,” and “Sparks and Embers.”
Tennant’s breakout role came in the form of the character Jenny Flint in the popular BBC sci-fi series “Doctor Who.” Her portrayal of the feisty and independent Victorian-era detective earned her critical acclaim and a devoted fanbase. Tennant went on to reprise her role as Jenny Flint in the spin-off series “The Paternoster Gang,” further solidifying her status as a fan-favorite in the “Doctor Who” universe.
She has appeared in music videos for the band All About Eve and the musician David Tennant, whom she would later marry in 2011. She has also worked with her husband on various projects, including the TV series “Sparks and Embers” and the audio dramas “Doctor Who: The Tenth Doctor Adventures” and “Jenny: The Doctor’s Daughter.” In addition, she has worked with fellow “Doctor Who” alums such as Matt Smith and Karen Gillan.
