Georg Listing
Georg Listing is best known as the bassist of the German rock band Tokio Hotel, a group that shot to international fame with their debut album “Schrei.”
Listing has primarily been associated with Tokio Hotel, which released multiple successful albums like “Zimmer 483” and “Humanoid.” In the course of their career, they’ve navigated genres ranging from alternative rock to electronic pop. The band’s 2007 single “Monsoon” became a defining moment, garnering significant radio play and chart performance across Europe.
Georg Listing has shared the stage and collaborated with several notable figures in the music industry and beyond. Among these are Kerli, who collaborated on the band’s song “Strange” for the movie “Alice in Wonderland,” and producers like Guy Chambers and Desmond Child. He’s also collaborated with other artists like Far East Movement, David Jost, The Matrix, Keri Hilson, and Rock Mafia. Additional collaborations include Steve Aoki, Martin Kierszenbaum, and Scott Taube. Inside the band, he’s worked closely with Bill Kaulitz (vocals), Gustav Schäfer (drummer), and Tom Kaulitz (guitar).
Over the years, Listing has earned recognition that underscores his talent and contributions. He won a 2008 MTV Europe Music Award for Best Headliner with Tokio Hotel.
