Ellen Pompeo adopted a puppy named Tom from Maeday Rescue in Los Angeles in June 2023. Tom, who has been through several homes before, was born to a dog found in the desert by a family who was unaware she was pregnant. The family contacted Maeday when the litter turned 2 months old, and Tom is the first from the litter to be adopted.
