Eden Sher's Pets

Eden Sher is an American actress known for her role as Sue Heck on the ABC series The Middle (2009–2018), which earned her a Critics’ Choice Television Award for Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series in 2013. She voiced Star Butterfly in the Disney XD animated series Star vs. the Forces of Evil (2015–2019). Her television credits also include roles in Jane the Virgin, Weeds, and Sons & Daughters.

Sher appeared alongside Patricia Heaton on The Middle, portraying her on-screen daughter for nine seasons. She worked with Charlie McDermott and Atticus Shaffer as part of the Heck family ensemble throughout the series. In Star vs. the Forces of Evil, she collaborated with Adam McArthur, who voiced her co-lead character Marco. On Jane the Virgin, she acted with Gina Rodriguez in a guest appearance as a cheerleading rival. She appeared with Mary-Louise Parker on Weeds, portraying a troubled student in an early season. In Sons & Daughters, she worked with Fred Goss, playing one of the children in a large extended family in the ABC comedy series.
