Brooks Wackerman
Brooks Wackerman is an American drummer recognized for his work with several influential bands across various rock and heavy metal genres. Currently the drummer for Avenged Sevenfold since 2015, Wackerman has also been a member of Bad Religion, Suicidal Tendencies, Infectious Grooves, and Tenacious D. His technical skill and versatility have earned him a reputation as one of the most accomplished drummers in the rock music scene.
Before joining Avenged Sevenfold, Wackerman amassed a significant discography with bands such as Bad Religion, with whom he recorded six studio albums, and played an integral role in Tenacious D’s live performances and recordings, further solidifying his standing in the music industry. His tenure with Avenged Sevenfold began with their album “The Stage” (2016).
Wackerman’s career is marked by collaborations with with Avenged Sevenfold brought him together with M. Shadows, Synyster Gates, Zacky Vengeance, and Johnny Christ, creating a powerful synergy that has defined the band’s recent outputs. Beyond his band memberships, Wackerman has performed alongside artists such as Korn, Fear Factory, and Glenn Tipton.
