Life-long dog lover Brooke Shields most recently had a Poodle-mix dog named Pepper, aka “Magoo”, that she got in 2012. Pepper sadly passed away in February 2023 at the age of 10. Shields posted this tribute to Pepper on Instagram, “Today we had to say goodbye to our beloved furry girl Pepper, aka “Magoo.” It was the hardest thing we have ever had to do. She was Pure Love. “

Brooke Shields had a beloved American Bulldog named Darla that she got in 1998. Darla passed away from cancer at 13 years old in 2011.

Brooke Shields and Chris Henchy welcomed a new furry family member by adopting Tuzi, an American Staffordshire Terrier. During a New York race event in August 2023, Brooke Shields revealed they chose Tuzi because she was overlooked due to her unique “twisted tail.” The couple adopted the pup from The American Kennel Club.

Brooke Shields is an American actress and model who first gained fame at age 12 for her leading role in Louis Malle’s film Pretty Baby. Shields continued to model into her late teenage years and starred in several dramas in the 1980s, including The Blue Lagoon and Franco Zeffirelli’s Endless Love. In 1983, Shields suspended her career as a model to attend Princeton University, where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Romance languages. In the 1990s, Shields returned to acting and appeared in minor roles in films. She also starred in the NBC sitcoms Suddenly Susan and Lipstick Jungle. In 2017, Shields returned to NBC with a major recurring role in Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. Since 2014, Shields has voiced Beverly Goodman in the Adult Swim animated series Mr. Pickles and its spinoff Momma Named Me Sheriff.
