Ana de Armas
Ana de Armas is a Cuban-Spanish actress in Cuba. She began her career in her home country of Cuba and had a leading role in the romantic drama Una rosa de Francia (2006). At age 18, she moved to Madrid, Spain and starred in the popular teen drama El Internado for six seasons from 2007 to 2010. In the mid-2010s, she started getting English-speaking roles in Hollywood films. Her breakout Hollywood role was co-starring in Blade Runner 2049 (2017) with Ryan Gosling and Harrison Ford. For her role in Rian Johnson’s Knives Out (2019) with Daniel Craig and Chris Evans, she won the Saturn Award for Best Supporting Actress and was nominated for a Golden Globe. She followed that up by playing a Bond girl in the James Bond film No Time to Die (2021), also with Daniel Craig. In 2022, she portrayed Marilyn Monroe in the Netflix film Blonde, which earned her an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress.
