Darla (Dog)
Vanessa Hudgens has one dog, a toy poodle mix named Darla. While with her then-boyfriend Austin Butler, she adopted Darla from a neighbor of Butler’s mom. His mom noticed the tiny poodle mix sitting on a neighbor’s balcony in the summer heat every day without food or water. She eventually went over to the neighbors to say if they can’t look after the dog, she would. After Butler’s mom passed away, Hudgens and Butler took Darla, with Hudgens keeping Darla after they broke up.
Shadow (Dog)
Vanessa Hudgens used to have a toy poodle named Shadow. Shadow was originally Hudgens’ younger sister’s dog, but she was too young to handle raising her. Hudgens said Shadow chose her to be her mom and looked after her until she passed away in 2016.

Before Cole Tucker and Vanessa Hudgens got married in 2023, Cole had an Australian Shepherd mix.
