Gaten Matarazzo
Gaten Matarazzo is an American actor. He began acting on Broadway, as Benjamin in Priscilla, Queen of the Desert (2011), and as Gavroche in Les Misérables (2014). He is well known for his role as Dustin Henderson in the Netflix Science Fiction Drama series Stranger Things (2016-present). Along with his co-stars, Matarazzo won the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series. He also won a Shorty Award for Best Actor (2017).
In 2017, Matarazzo also had roles in the music video’s Swish Swish with Katy Perry and Nicki Minaj’s, as well as the Lost Boys Life with “Computer Games” (Darren Criss & Chuck Criss). He suffers from cleidocranial dysplasia, which he shares with his Stranger Things character. He uses his celebrity status to spread awareness about the disease.
