Katy Perry used to have a beloved toy poodle named Butters. Perry adopted Butters in 2011, who she had until Butters passed away in 2018 from health complications.

Katy Perry had a cat named Kitty Purry. She passed away on April 18, 2020 after 15 years. In 2008, Kitty Purry made a cameo in the “I Kissed a Girl” music video, and she even joined the singer on tour. During the Hello Katy Tour, a large inflatable Kitty Purry head was part of the stage design. Fans backstage were able to meet the popular mascot since she joined her for that tour, and many other tours.

in 2016, Katy Perry got a teacup poodle named Nugget. Nugget got her name because Perry thought she looked like a chicken nugget. In 2018, Nugget made headlines after Perry’s assistant saved Nugget’s life using CPR. Nugget stars alongside Katy Perry in her 2020 music video for “Small Talk.”

Nugget jumped and fell off the bed and became unresponsive and I gave her CPR. I pushed on her little chest and blew in her mouth and I brought her back to life.
