Being one of the biggest celebrities in the world keeps Millie Bobby Brown pretty busy (which includes her own pet apparel and accessories brand). But it doesn’t stop her from giving plenty of time and love to animals in need. This includes animals of all types, but she has a special place in her heart for dogs – with the Stranger Things star owning 9 rescue dogs and fostering 23 of them!
Millie operates Joey’s Friends, a dog rescue she cofounded where she fosters dogs on her farm home in Georgia. She also donates her time to help promote these eligible pups by appearing in photos and videos with them. She recently stepped up production and released a video where she (attempts) to interview some of her current fosters.
She spent a day filming and mentions in the caption, “My fosters are looking for homes everyday. Some of them have been with me for 24 hours and some for 200 days. It doesn’t matter, as long as they find wonderful, caring, homes that speak dog language like me.” And her 64 million followers of course loved it, with almost half a million likes and comments like, “Millie, you’re the best! thankful to get to work with you to rescue dogs,” and “You’re outstanding, girrrrl! Thank you for helping these babies to find a home.”
And Mille and Joey’s Friends have released more flashy and fun videos which are guaranteed to generate more hype from potential furever homes. And one such celeb that was previously convinced by Millie was Dave Bautista to adopt his 4th pitbull.
And just a couple of days ago, Millie posted to her Instagram stories that she added a new foster dog to her pack named Noah, saving him just days from being euthanized.
In case you missed it, Millie recently gave a rare tour of her Georgia farm and rescue animals.
