Jennifer Aniston has always been a proud dog mom and currently has two rescue dogs named Clyde and Lord Chesterfield. And now she’s launching “The Clydeo Fund,” which will provide “critical assistance to rescue organizations.” Clyde is her oldest pup who inspired her to create an animated version of him named “Clydeo,” as well as write a series of Clydeo children’s books.
The launch of The Clydeo Fund ties in with the launch of the first in her children’s book series, Clydeo Takes A Bite Out of Life. The Clydeo Fund website aims to “give a voice to our fury friends.” with every dollar going towards their mission to rescue, rehabilitate, and find forever homes for pets in need.
We can get awareness out and help the shelters that are in desperate need. We can help these animals, and we can get awareness out, and help the shelters that are in desperate need of upkeep because they’re falling apart. They can’t keep up. And all you see is that we’re euthanizing innocent, beautiful, perfectly, perfectly fine two-year-old dogs, or a puppy, or a litter. I can’t. It’s too much. It’s too many.
