A recent Instagram Reel from James Gunn, director of the upcoming Superman reboot (starring David Corenswet), revealed that his rescue dog, Ozu, was used to create the CGI model for Superman’s dog, Krypto.
The video also reveals Ozu is as much a Superman fanboy as his dad. Or maybe he just sees the family resemblance in Krypto?
This follows James Gunn sharing that Krypto was inspired by his pup Ozu back in December.
