The Antics of Ivar the Incredible Blind Cat and His Special Needs Fur Siblings

Ivar the Incredible Blind Cat (and staring contest world champion, we assume) started as an orphan found in a field. He was then taken in by a shelter at around six months old, where he was turned down for adoption many times.

He was sadly so unpopular due to his blindness (and grumpiness) that he was offered to one kind human named Yvette at the discounted price of $20.

Yvette clearly knows a good deal when she sees it and took Ivar home. The kitty does look shocked to have a forever home, but due to his blindness, he always looks like that.

Yvette already had a big heart for cats in need, as Ivar had several rescued roommates waiting for him. Baby Toad, who looks like a cute tabby t-rex, has a condition called radial hypoplasia which resulted in his short front legs.

There’s Fred and Jenni, who are siblings that Yvette adopted together. They have a condition called tibial hemimelia, which also results in shorter legs.

Then there’s Alice, their Maine Coon and resident beauty queen.

And they’re all doing their best to get along with King Ivar.

Good night Ivan and family! Make sure to follow them on TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook.
