Ratan Tata is an Indian industrialist and a former chairman of Tata Sons. Ratan was chairman of the Tata Group from 1990 to 2012 and he has received two civilian awards of India, the Padma Vibhushan (2008), the second highest civilian honor, and the Padma Bhushan (2000),the third highest civilian honor. The Tata Group is a multinational conglomerate headquartered in Mumbai with with products and services in over 150 countries and operations in 100 countries across six continent.
