Terrence Howard
Terrence Howard is an American actor and singer, known for his roles in films such as “Hustle & Flow,” for which he received an Academy Award nomination for Best Actor, and his portrayal of Lucious Lyon in the television series “Empire.”
Howard’s career in film began with his breakout role in the 1995 film “Mr. Holland’s Opus.” He gained further recognition for his performances in “Crash” (2004), which won the Academy Award for Best Picture, and “Iron Man” (2008), where he played James “Rhodey” Rhodes. His television work includes significant roles in “Law & Order: LA” and “Wayward Pines.” Besides acting, Howard has ventured into music, releasing his debut album “Shine Through It” in 2008.
Throughout his career, Howard has collaborated with several notable actors. In “Crash,” he worked alongside Don Cheadle, Sandra Bullock, and Matt Dillon. In “Iron Man,” he starred with Robert Downey Jr. and Gwyneth Paltrow. His role in “Empire” brought him to collaborate with Taraji P. Henson, who played his character’s ex-wife.
