In Pistol, she portrayed Chrissie Hynde, collaborating with Toby Wallace in a series about the punk rock era. Chandler acted in The Golden Rut (2016), an indie film featuring Jessie Plemons. In Pistol, she worked with Louis Partridge in an ensemble cast capturing the history of punk music. Her role in Chemistry (2021) further added to her indie film experience. She also collaborated with Anson Boon in Pistol, where her character represented a key figure in 1970s music culture.
