Maverick Do(g)brev
Nina Dobrev adopted a rescue Border Collie/Australian Shepherd mix named Maverick in April 2017 from The Pet Care Foundation in Los Angeles. Nina also helped Marverick’s brother find a home. In March 2024, Maverick got her first snowboarding lesson from her fur step dad Shaun White.
Lynx
Nina Dobrev had a beloved childhood cat named Lynx that she got when she was 10 years old in 1999. Over the years, Lynx had many names, including Jami, Jamillia, Jami Lynx, Jammie, Jinx, Jimmy Jam, Bambi, and Poop. The kitty passed away in March 2017, with Nina posting an emotional tribute to her on Instagram.
Steve
Shaun White had a black and white French Bulldog named Steve. Steve passed away in August 2024 at the age of 13, with White posting a heartfelt tribute to Steve.

Nina Dobrev, a Canadian actress of Bulgarian descent, is widely recognized for her dynamic roles in television and film, particularly for portraying Elena Gilbert and Katherine Pierce on The CW’s supernatural drama series The Vampire Diaries.
