Nessa Barrett is an American singer and songwriter. Barrett rose to prominence on the video sharing app TikTok in 2019. Barrett began her music career in mid-2020 with the release of her debut single “Pain.” Barrett released her debut EP Pretty Poison on September 10, 2021. Her song “I Hope Ur Miserable Until Ur Dead” entered the US Billboard Hot 100 at number 88 in August 2021, becoming her first entry on the chart.

Her musical career has further flourished through partnerships. Among her notable collaborations are those with Jxdn, whose real name is Jaden Hossler, on the track “La Di Die,” as well as a joint project with popular music producer Travis Barker. Other artists include Josh Richards, Griffin Johnson, Noah Beck, Chase Hudson, Larray, Charli D’Amelio, Dixie D’Amelio, Bryce Hall, and Addison Rae.

Nessa Barrett’s recognition isn’t limited to her social media clout or chart-topping singles; she has also received awards and distinctions that validate her artistic merit. She was nominated for a Billboard Music Award in 2021 for Top Streaming Song for “Pain.”
