In 2022, Abigail Cowen found a few kittens that were abandoned near her shed. They were malnutritioned and covered in fleas when she found them. After caring for them and helping with the fleas, a few were adopted. In 2023, she shared an update with a couple of the cats she adopted named Stella and Aisha[1].

Abigail Cowen is an American actress and model, best known for her roles as Dorcas in the Netflix series “Chilling Adventures of Sabrina” and as Bloom in the Netflix live-action adaptation of “Winx Club,” titled “Fate: The Winx Saga.” Born in Gainesville, Florida, Cowen grew up on a farm with her brother Dawson and took acting lessons as a child. She attended Oviedo High School, where she was an athlete in track and field, and later studied public relations at the University of Florida before moving to Los Angeles in 2016 to further pursue her acting career.

Cowen’s acting career began at the age of 17 with a role in Fox’s “Red Band Society.” She gained wider recognition in 2017 with her portrayal of Vicki Charmichael in the second season of Netflix’s “Stranger Things.” From 2017 to 2018, she appeared in CBS’s “Wisdom of the Crowd” and Freeform’s “The Fosters.” In 2018, she made her film debut in “I Still Believe.” Cowen’s portrayal of Dorcas in “Chilling Adventures of Sabrina” from 2018 to 2020 and her lead role as Bloom in “Fate: The Winx Saga” since 2021 have been significant in her career.

Cowen’s collaborations in the industry include working with notable actors and directors across various projects. In “Stranger Things,” she worked alongside creators the Duffer Brothers and a cast including Winona Ryder and David Harbour. Her role in “Fate: The Winx Saga” involved collaboration with showrunner Brian Young and co-stars Hannah van der Westhuysen and Precious Mustapha. In “I Still Believe,” she worked with directors Andrew Erwin and Jon Erwin, and co-starred with K.J. Apa.
