Michael Showalter
Michael Showalter is an American comedian, actor, director, writer, and producer. He gained popularity as as cast member on MTV’s The State (1993-1995). After the series, Michael Showalter and David Wain created the Wet Hot American Summer franchise which created two movies, and a Netflix series. He starred in Wet Hot American Summer (2001). Michael later wrote and directed The Baxter (2005) which also starred Michelle Williams, Justin Theroux, and Elizabeth Banks. In 2017, he directed the popular film The Big Sick.
