Malcolm McRae
Malcolm McRae is an American actor, writer, director, and musician. One of McRae’s breakout roles came in the 2014 film “The Fault in Our Stars,” directed by Josh Boone. McRae played the role of Augustus Waters’ best friend, Isaac, a character dealing with blindness and heartbreak. McRae’s performance was praised for its sensitivity and depth, earning him a nomination for a Young Artist Award.
Another notable role for McRae was in the 2018 indie film “Thunder Road,” which he wrote, directed, and starred in. The film follows a police officer struggling with personal and professional challenges. “Thunder Road” premiered at the South by Southwest Film Festival and received critical acclaim, winning the Grand Jury Prize for Best Narrative Feature.
