Louis Smith
Louis Smith is a British former artistic gymnast who specialized in the pommel horse, winning silver and bronze medals at the Olympic Games.
Throughout his career, Smith demonstrated exceptional skill and artistry in gymnastics, particularly on the pommel horse, where he was known for his high degree of difficulty and execution. His accomplishments include winning Britain’s first gymnastics medal in over 100 years at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, followed by further success with a team bronze and an individual silver at the 2012 London Olympics, and another silver at the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympics. Beyond his Olympic success, Smith also achieved notable victories at the European Championships and World Championships.
