Lauren Santo Domingo
Lauren Santo Domingo is an American entrepreneur, magazine editor, and socialite, best known as the co-founder and Chief Brand Officer of the online fashion retailer Moda Operandi. Born into a family with a business background, she grew up in Greenwich, Connecticut, and later pursued a career in the fashion industry.
Santo Domingo’s career in fashion and media began with her early modeling work and subsequent role at Vogue, where she rose from a fashion assistant to an associate fashion editor and then a sittings editor. She then transitioned to public relations, working for J. Mendel and Carolina Herrera, before returning to Vogue as a contributing editor. In 2011, she co-founded Moda Operandi, an innovative online platform that allows customers to pre-order fashion items directly from designers’ runway collections.
Her collaborations and professional relationships have been pivotal in her career. Santo Domingo has worked closely with various designers and fashion industry professionals, contributing significantly to the launch and growth of Moda Operandi.
