On the TV series Turner & Hooch, Josh Peck plays Turner, a cop who has a giant French Mastiff dog named Hooch. French Mastiffs are also known as “Dogue de Bordeaux” in French. While not his actual dog, Peck spent plenty of time looking after Arnie, Hammer, Opie, Cyd, and Mimi, the dog actors that played Hooch. This TV series was a remake of the 1989 movie Turner & Hooch, which starred Tom Hanks.
