Denis Leary
Denis Leary is an actor, comedian, writer, and producer known for his role as Tommy Gavin in the FX series Rescue Me (2004–2011), which he co-created and for which he received multiple Emmy nominations. He starred in films such as The Ref (1994), Demolition Man (1993), and The Amazing Spider-Man (2012). Leary also provided the voice of Diego in the Ice Age film series (2002–2016) and authored the best-selling book Why We Suck: A Feel-Good Guide to Staying Fat, Loud, Lazy, and Stupid.
Leary collaborated with John Scurti on Rescue Me, who co-wrote and acted on the series, contributing to its critical acclaim. In the Ice Age films, he worked alongside Ray Romano and Queen Latifah, forming the core ensemble cast. He appeared in The Amazing Spider-Man alongside Andrew Garfield, playing Captain George Stacy. His comedy album No Cure for Cancer (1993) featured material developed in partnership with comedians such as Lenny Clarke. He also collaborated with Elizabeth Hurley in the film Two if by Sea (1996) and starred opposite Kevin Spacey in The Ref, highlighting his versatility in comedic and dramatic roles.
