Joanna Going is an American actress known for her roles in the television series “House of Cards,” “Kingdom,” and “Mad Men,” as well as the film “Wyatt Earp.”

Going’s career began in the late 1980s with appearances in soap operas such as “Another World” and “Search for Tomorrow.” She gained wider recognition with her role in the NBC miniseries “Dark Shadows” (1991), where she portrayed Victoria Winters and Josette du Pres. Her film career includes performances in “Wyatt Earp” (1994) alongside Kevin Costner, and “Inventing the Abbotts” (1997). Going also had a role in the television series “House of Cards” (2013–2014) as First Lady Tricia Walker, and she played Christina Kulina in the drama series “Kingdom” (2014–2017). Additionally, she appeared in “Mad Men” (2013) as Arlene.

Going has collaborated with several prominent actors. She starred alongside Kevin Costner in “Wyatt Earp,” a role that brought her attention. In “House of Cards,” her on-screen dynamics with Robin Wright and Michael Kelly were pivotal. In “Kingdom,” she worked closely with Frank Grillo, Kiele Sanchez, and Matt Lauria.
