Jessica Capshaw is an American actress, prominently recognized for her portrayal of Dr. Arizona Robbins in the ABC medical drama series “Grey’s Anatomy.” Her acting portfolio also includes significant roles in “The Practice,” “Boston Legal,” and the film “Valentine” (2001). She joined the cast of “Grey’s Anatomy” in its fifth season and remained a central figure until her departure at the end of the fourteenth season.

Her film debut was in “The Locusts” (1997), and she quickly transitioned to television, where she secured a recurring role in “The Practice.” This led to her involvement in “Boston Legal,” where she continued to develop her television career.
