Does James Cromwell Have Any Pets?

Babe the Pig (From the movie "Babe") (Pig)

Breed: Large White Yorkshire

James Cromwell loves animals, with him being Vegan and working with Peta and other animal advocacy groups as proof. He has no pets himself, but he’s, of course, best known for his role as Arthur Hoggett in the 1995 film “Babe” and his iconic line “That’ll do, Pig. That’ll do.”. Cromwell was a vegetarian prior to filming “Babe”, but became a vegan as a result of acting alongside animals.

Adopted Apr 2023

In April 2023, James Cromwell was featured in several videos by Peta with a rescue pig that he named Babe. Babe fell off a truck while on the way to be fattened up and slaughtered. The big was rescued and given to Peta, who got in touch with their frequent collaborator Cromwell. Cromwell had a Zoom call with the sleepy piglet (pictured here). Then the pair met up in real life, which you can watch below.
