His musical journey gained significant momentum with Pentagon’s debut extended play “Pentagon” in 2016, which showcased his vocal prowess and stage presence. Over the years, Hui has been an instrumental part of Pentagon’s growth, contributing to the group’s discography with hit tracks such as “Shine” and “Daisy”, both of which played a pivotal role in propelling Pentagon into the K-pop limelight.

A cornerstone of Hui’s career has been his collaborative ventures with other artists in the industry. Additionally, he has worked with Jinho, Hongseok, Shinwon, Yeo One, Yan An, Yuto, Kino, and Wooseok within Pentagon to produce a variety of songs that have resonated with audiences globally. Outside of group activities, Hui has collaborated with other notable figures such as producer Flow Blow, with whom he co-composed the chart-topping track “Never” for the reality show “Produce 101 Season 2”, and Jo Woo Chan in the song “Wake Me Up”.

One of Hui’s significant achievements includes winning the Best Music Award at the 2019 Korea Music Copyright Awards for his work on “Never”. His continuous effort and contribution to Pentagon’s music have also led to several nominations and awards for the group, including the New Artist of the Year Award at the 2017 Melon Music Awards.
