Gordon Kyle Diez Cormier is a Canadian actor known for his roles in “The Stand” as Joe and as Aang in the Netflix live-action series “Avatar: The Last Airbender.” His acting career spans from 2019 to the present, marking significant contributions to both television and film through various roles.

Cormier’s acting debut was marked by his role as Guatemalan Urchin in “Get Shorty” (2019), followed by appearances in “A Christmas Miracle” and “Lost in Space” the same year. His portrayal of Joe in the 2020 adaptation of Stephen King’s “The Stand” significantly increased his visibility and was a critical step in his career. In 2021, Cormier was cast as the lead character, Avatar Aang, in the Netflix adaptation of “Avatar: The Last Airbender,” released in 2024.
