Eminem
Marshall Bruce Mathers III, better known as Eminem, is an American rapper. He is noted for being the best-selling recording artist in the United States for the 2000s and has sold over 172 million albums globally. Thanks to this, he has earned an estimated $200 million net worth.
Eminem released his second album, the Slim Shady EP in 1997. This album is where Eminem introduced his “Slim Shady” alter-ego, where he became known for his fast, comical and disturbed rapping style. This got the attention of Dr. Dre and Interscope Records co-founder Jimmy Iovine, who then signed him to Dre’s Aftermath label. This was followed up by The Marshall Mathers LP, which sold almost 2 million copies in the first week. It became the fastest-selling studio album by a solo artist in the United States and also earned him a Grammy Award for Best Rap Album. He has released eight solo albums and two albums with his group D12, all hitting number one on the Billboard 200.
Eminem has a daughter named Hailie Jade.
