David Hasselhoff
David Michael Hasselhoff is an American actor, singer and entrepreneur. After starring as Peter Pan in a play when he was seven years old, he wanted to become an actor. After participating in theater through high school and university, he graduated with a degree in theater. His acting career was launched in 1975 when he got a recurring role on The Young and the Restless, which lasted until 1982. His big break came in 1982, when he landed the lead role for the TV series Knight Rider, which lasted four years and made him a well-known name in the States.
He followed up with an even more iconic role, as a lead and the producer of Baywatch which premiered in 1989. Ending in 2001, it became the most watched shows of all time, with over 1 billion viewers from 140 countries and launched the careers for actors such as Pamela Anderson, Yasmine Bleeth, Carmen Electra, and Alexandra Paul. Most recently he’s part of the cast of the Baywatch film (2017), which features Dwayne Johnson, Zac Efron, Alexandra Daddario, Priyanka Chopra and also original Baywatch star Pamela Anderson.
