Colm Meaney
Colm Meaney is an Irish actor known for his role as Chief Miles O’Brien in Star Trek: The Next Generation and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. He also appeared in notable films such as The Commitments, The Van, and The Snapper, for which he received a Golden Globe nomination.
Meaney’s career includes his portrayal of Jimmy Rabbitte Sr. in The Commitments and Larry in The Van. He starred as Desmond in The Snapper, a role that earned him critical acclaim. In Hollywood, Meaney played Duncan Malloy in Con Air and Gene in Layer Cake. His theater work includes performances at Dublin’s Abbey Theatre.
