Amanda Tapping's Pets

Amanda Tapping is a Canadian actress known for her role as Samantha Carter in Stargate SG-1 (1997–2007), Stargate Atlantis (2005–2009), and Stargate Universe (2009–2011). She also starred as Dr. Helen Magnus in the science fiction series Sanctuary (2008–2011) and has worked as a director on various television productions, including episodes of Supernatural and The Flash.

In Stargate SG-1, Tapping starred alongside Richard Dean Anderson and Michael Shanks, contributing to ten seasons and two follow-up films. In Stargate Atlantis, she appeared with Joe Flanigan and David Hewlett, transitioning her character into a leadership role. In Stargate Universe, she shared scenes with Robert Carlyle. On Sanctuary, she acted with Robin Dunne, portraying a scientist leading a global network studying anomalous creatures. She directed episodes of Supernatural, working with Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles. She appeared in Supernatural as Naomi during its eighth season. She also directed episodes of The Flash, collaborating with Grant Gustin.
