Alvina August is a Zimbabwean-Canadian actress and singer. She’s best known for her role as Karen Hunt on the CW series Nancy Drew. She’s appeared on a long list of TV shows, including Woke, Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist, Siren, Hailey Dean Mystery, The Good Doctor, The Boys, and more. In 2023, she starred in the Fox sitcom Animal Control with Ravi Patel, Vella Lovell, Michael Rowland, Grace Palmer, Gerry Dee, Kelli Ogmundson, and Joel McHale.
