Dua Lipa and Anwar Hadid have one rescue dog named Dexter that’s a labrador mix. Dexter is two years old and was born on May 1, 2020. Dua Lipa adopted Dexter in August 2020 from the Labelle Foundation, a dog rescue organization in Los Angeles. Since they broke up at the end of 2021, they’ve given no confirmation if Anwar or Dua Lipa kept Dexter or if they will share custody of him.

Dua Lipa is an English singer, songwriter and model. She started her career as a model, and later signed with Warner Bros. Records in 2014. In 2017, she released her debut album which peaked at number three on the UK Albums Chart and yielded eight singles, including “Be the One”, “IDGAF”, and the UK number-one single “New Rules”, which also peaked at number six in the US. The album has been certified platinum in numerous countries worldwide and won Lipa the Brit Awards for British Female Solo Artist and British Breakthrough Act in 2018.

Released as part of her second studio album, Future Nostalgia (2020), “Don’t Start Now” reached number two in the UK and US, and number four on the US year-end chart. The success of the song reached International audiences and it became the most commercially successful song by a female artist in the US in 2020.

Dua Lipa has received numerous awards including Brit Awards, three Grammy Awards, two MTV Europe Music Awards, an MTV Video Music Award, two Billboard Music Awards, an American Music Award, and two Guinness World Records. She was also named on the Time 100 Next List in 2021.

In 2023, Dua Lipa plays Mermaid Barbie in the 2023 Barbie movie alongside Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling.

Dua Lipa & Blackpink – Kiss and Make Up (2018): Dua Lipa was ahead of the curve with the K-POP genre and collaborated with popular South Korean group Blackpink to produce “Kiss and Make Up”. Blackpink consists of Korean artists Jisoo, Jennie Kim, ROSÉ Park, and Lalisa Manoban. The song reached reached number 36 on the UK Singles Chart and number 75 on South Korea’s Gaon Digital Chart. Dua Lipa & Megan Thee Stallion – Sweetest Pie (2022): The song is the lead single in Megan Thee Stallion’s second studio album, Traumazine. “Sweetest Pie” debuted at number 15 on the Billboard Hot 100, becoming Lipa’s highest debut on the chart.
