Chrissy Teigen and John Legend love sharing their family life on social media, which often includes their furry family members. Currently they have four dogs at home: Penny, Petey, Pearl, and Pebbles (plus two budgies, a hamster, and a bearded dragon). Three of their dogs are rescues, with Penny a “tripawd”. They got Pearl the Basset Hound as Chrissy had a Basset Hound growing up. As a couple, they’ve also previously had dogs named Puddy, Pippa, Pepper, and Puey, dating back to 2008.

The celebrity power couple has already launched cookware, wine, and skincare brands – So them launching a pet-centric brand comes as no surprise to fans. Named Kismet, the couple has combined their love of food (Chrissy has published three cookbooks for humans) and canines.
Talking to Fast Company, Teigen said, “We’re big pet parents. We have been for such a long time now, since we first met. I think my dogs have eaten better than me at so many different points in my life. Honestly, when I hear chicken and barley with sweet potato nuggets, that makes me salivate.” Legend added, “We wanted to find that right balance of giving them all the nutrition and the quality that they want. But without all the inconvenience and cost of fresh.”
Besides tasty treats for dogs, the stylish couple’s brand also offers apparel for both dogs and their pawrents. They’re also giving back, with partial proceeds benefiting Project Street Vet and Paws for Life.
They also worked with celebrity veterinarian Dr. Kwane Stewart to formulate their dog food.
And they brought a couple of their pups to meet Jimmy Fallon and promote Kismet.
Their daughter Luna (and poodle Petey) also showed they have an entrepreneurial spirit when they teamed up to sell Girl Scout Cookies back in February. And they also hosted a celebrity-studded launch party that you don’t want to miss!
