Megan Thee Stallion is an American rapper. Born as Megan Jovon Ruth Pete and originally from Houston, Texas, she first gained International fame through her freestyling videos through Instagram. In 2018, she signed with 300 Entertainment and released the mixtape Fever (2019) and the extended play Suga (2020). Both albums reached the top ten of the Billboard 200. She released her debut studio album in 2020, Good News. Her song “Savage” featuring Beyoncé reached number one on the US Billboard Hot 100. She has worked with other artists such as Cardi B, Doja Cat, and Ariana Grande. The collaborations all reached top ten on the Billboard 200. She also received a nomination for a Grammy Award for Best Rap Performance for her single single “Thot Shit”.
