The Humane Society Naples has revealed that Millie Bobby Brown is fostering a Frenchie who she named Jabba. While she’s only turning 20 later this month, she’s been known for over a decade for her intense performance as Eleven on Stranger Things – And for her dedication to animal advocacy and pet adoption.
Jabba, formerly named Shark, was with The Human Society Naples, before being passed on to Millie and her BF Jake Bongiovi. The Humane Society Naples said in a Facebook post, “Thank you Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi for visiting our shelter yesterday! We are so excited to announce Shark left with this awesome pair to start a new journey with Millie’s rescue, @joeysfriends22 . In honor of Millie’s generosity, we are happy to say one of our current HSN dogs, Big Brown, has been renamed after Millie. Thank you again for visiting HSN and giving Shark an opportunity as big as his personality!
Shark was reintroduced as Jabba via @joeysfriends22, which is a rescue founded by Millie.
Besides adopting and fostering herself, Millie also uses her fame to help get dogs adopted via Joey’s Friends, and often appears in their posts and shares adoptable pups via her Instagram Stories.
This is Millie’s 5th dog, among other rescue pets, including a rabbit, turtles, and cats. Millie also recently teased her own pet apparel and accessories collection. And you can check out all the celebrity pets of the Stranger Things cast.
