Since rescuing a stray cat family last month, Halle Berry has been getting back in touch with her inner Catwoman and reflecting on her starring role in the 2004 movie.
Berry posted a gallery of topless photos on Instagram, covered up with a cat eye mask and her two rescue kittens, Boots and Coco. In the caption, she says how she was honored to portray the iconic comic book character. She also takes the time to thank and tag Jee H. Lim and CAAT Friends – The human and rescue organization that helped when she found the stray cat mom and kittens in her backyard.
This follows a previous Instagram post that also celebrated the 20th anniversary of Catwoman, noting how it was panned upon release, but became a fun classic movie over the years. Catwoman also starred Sharon Stone, Benjamin Bratt, Frances Conroy, Lambert Wilson, and Alex Borstein.
To help prepare her for the role, Catwoman’s production team gave Berry her very first cat when she was cast as the lead. Named Playdough, she had the kitty by her side for 16 years, when he passed away from brain cancer in May 2017.
